Spring step card

This week the theme at Fab'n'Funky is St David's Day - use yellow as you main colour or add a daffodil to your card. We are sponsored by The Stamp Fairy and were able to play with their images. I hope they don't mind but I really played with them - I have put two of them together (Lenny and Linda) to make a bright spring card.

I coloured the image using ProMarkers, matted it to yellow card and fastened with brads to a green step card. Added some paper flowers and some more brads to finish.

This was my first attempt at a step card - I always fancied them but never actually got around to make one. I have to say it was much easier than it looked. If you never made one, give it a go as it makes a difference from the usual square cards. They are also very easy to customise to your image.
This is what I have done: measured my image (matted) and added 0.5 cm to both sides, made the cut up to half the height, turned around 90 degrees and scored it. Done!

Thanks for looking, have a great day!
