C'est si bon...

Hi everyone, hope you are all well! Can you believe it is already April? And it still feels like February... Probably we'll have to adjust the calendar as well next year, not only the clocks... Anyhow, I am back today with a card I have made for a very special couple - they celebrated their wedding anniversary in Paris last weekend. I have used a LOTV stamp for the main image and tried masking for the first time. Masked the image and then stamped the Hero Arts Eiffel Tower. Coloured with ProMarkers and masked again when done the clouds. To finish, I have stamped "Paris" and added a few tiny gems.

Amour

Hi everyone, hope you are all well! Back with another card today - Amour. It is a long card, an A5 card folded in half. The bears in a booth is a freebie from http://www.littlemusingsblog.net/ and I just love them! Coloured with ProMarkers. As they are already framed it was done for the Less is more challenge! The theme this week is Frame and finally I am able to play again after a long time. I have cut out the image and used foam tape to attach for a raised effect.The sentiment is from the Paris set by Hero Arts. Hope you like it!

Happy birthday

Good evening dear bloggers, hope you are okay and having a good weekend so far. I finally had a bit of a time for crafting this afternoon. Here is one of the cards I made for the Birdie Brown challenge - the theme is birthday as Torico is celebrating the 2nd birthday of the shop. She also offers a prize of 3 digis. How fab is that? Love her images! I have used one of the freebies to make a very small A7 card. I have heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder (Stampendous) on the brown card. The sentiment was a freebie with the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. The digi is coloured with ProMarkers and attached to the card with foam pads. Hope you like it!

Hearts

Hi everyone, hope you are all okay. We have a new challenge over at the A and T Challenges, the theme is hearts this months. I have used an Emerald Faeries image - the Larakins. I have altered the image a bit as they are originally hanging on a different thing. Just hand drawn the string and stamped the hearts from the Woodware Wedding Bliss stamp set. The Larakins have been coloured with ProMarkers. I tried something new on this card by cutting out the hearts and placing some transparent red paper between two sheets but it actually didn't have the effect I was going for. I have realised it too late that I should have cut out the hearts from the back sheet as well but it stays like this now. I love the colours however. The sentiment is from Paper Pretties.

Bling

Hi everyone, hope you are all okay. Sorry I haven't been around lately but were very busy and have also finally started scrapbooking. I am a bit late with this card but there is a new challenge over at the Emerald Faeries Challenge blog. The theme is bling. I have printed out the image and stamped the Inkylicious sentiment after. Coloured with ProMarkers and for the bling effect I added a bit of glitter glue.

A happy hello - The Paper Shelter DT call

Hi everyone and a happy hello to you all! I have made this card for The Paper Shelter DT call. As you know, I love their images and use them a lot! For my card I have printed out the Cute Bavarian girl and coloured her with ProMarkers then cut her out. Attached to a pink paislee DP and finished off with a Paper Pretties senitment and butterfly and 3 coloured pearls. Hope you like it!

I have also tried something else today as the photo above is actually a scan. I like that you can achieve a flat and light photo with it but I miss the true colours as opposed to the one below (with camera). I know it's darker but I like the colours better - the only problem is that I can't get it straight! What do you think?
